课程内容:Falls represent one of the most common, morbid, and costly threats to independence and quality of life in older adults. However, there are still many unanswered questions regarding their causes and prevention, and Some methods which have been proved to be effective in literature research have not been fully applied to clinical practice. Recently, mounting evidence has suggested that noninvasive brain stimulation holds promise to improve the control of standing and/or walking in older adults without overt neurological disease. Accordingly, this lecture series will introduce: 1) New theories and Research on falls and cognition in the elderly; 2）The fundamentals of the cognition and mobility interaction in older adults, and the epidemiology of falls in the cognitively impaired; 3）The effect of Noninvasive Brain Stimulation on cognition and fall in older adults.
